Why We Did It: Health and Trauma Are Deeply Inseparable
Trauma is not merely an emotional or psychological wound; it is deeply biological. Severe chronic stress, interpersonal abuse, human trafficking, and displacement trigger sustained neuro-endocrine and autonomic dysregulation. This chronic systemic stress suppresses cell-mediated immunity, leaving trauma survivors acutely vulnerable to infectious pathogens, environmental exposures, and rapid physiological decline.
Conversely, communities destabilized by unmonitored disease outbreaks, contaminated water systems, or delayed diagnostic reporting suffer collective trauma, prolonged grief, and institutional alienation. In our frontline missions across Texas, residential survivor facilities, and emergency response networks, we learned that lasting human recovery is impossible without biological health defense.
Yet state, county, municipal, and tribal public health laboratories were weighed down by prohibitive commercial software licensing ($100,000 to $500,000+ per year). To eliminate this burden, Global Hands stepped in under our 501(c)(3) public benefit charter to provide the core Salus Agentic software at $0.00 license cost. By uniting frontline trauma therapy with sovereign laboratory intelligence, we protect the whole person: mind, body, and community.

Salus Agentic is developed and operated by SalusAgentic, Inc. (DE). Global Hands, Inc. collaborates under an authorized public benefit agreement so qualified public health agencies can receive humanitarian public health access.
Arms-length technology
The software concession is royalty-free for non-profit and government deployments. Maintenance, if billed, stays at or below fair market value.
Data sovereignty
Agency data sits in a dedicated Snowflake instance. Global Hands does not commingle jurisdictions or claim ownership of the agency's records.
