Dr. Rachelle Mendonca
Founder and Executive Director
Dr. Rachelle Mendonca founded Global Hands with a clear conviction: that people in crisis, hardship, and brokenness deserve more than sympathy. They deserve real help, honest leadership, and organizations willing to step into hard places.
With a Doctor of Psychology degree and years of hands-on experience in counseling-centered support, trauma response, leadership development, and community outreach, Dr. Mendonca brings both professional depth and personal commitment to the work of restoration.
Her areas of service include trauma recovery support, family strengthening, addiction recovery encouragement, leadership training, speaking and mentoring, and collaborative outreach both domestically and internationally.
Dr. Mendonca has engaged in outreach and service across multiple countries, including initiatives in Bangkok, Lisbon, Pachuca, and Itajai, bringing practical care and restorative support to communities in need.
Her leadership philosophy is simple: lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and build organizations that treat every person with dignity and practical care.
